Vestibular Therapy in Mobile, AL

Vestibular rehabilitation is the foundation on which The Center for Balance and Rehabilitation was built. For over a decade, our clinic has been a trusted destination on the Gulf Coast for individuals struggling with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, and falls.

Our highly experienced team of vestibular specialists provides comprehensive, individualized care using evidence-based assessment and treatment techniques to address the root cause of symptoms—not just manage them. Whether symptoms are new, chronic, or complex, our goal is to help patients regain confidence, stability, and control in their daily lives.

Our clinic provides a comprehensive vestibular rehabilitation program for patients presenting with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, visual disturbance, and motion sensitivity related to peripheral and central vestibular disorders.

Treatment is provided by PT's and PTA's with advanced training and specialization in vestibular rehabilitation. Our therapists have completed extensive post-graduate education consistent with Certified Vestibular Therapist (CVT) standards, which include in-depth study of vestibular anatomy and physiology, differential diagnosis, evidence-based evaluation, and implementation of targeted treatment interventions.

Vestibular dysfunction commonly manifests as:

  • Dizziness
  • Spinning sensations
  • Balance problems
  • Nausea
  • Blurred vision with head movement
  • Feeling unsteady during daily activities and walking

Who May Benefit from Vestibular Rehab?

  • Individuals experiencing vertigo or dizziness
  • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV)
  • Balance disorders and unsteadiness
  • Vestibular hypofunction or inner ear dysfunction
  • Post-concussion dizziness and balance issues
  • Fall risk or history of falls
  • Neurological conditions affecting balance
  • Chronic dizziness or motion sensitivity
  • Older adults looking to improve balance and confidence with walking
  • Vestibular Neuritis / Labyrinthitis
  • Cervicogenic Dizziness
  • Vestibular Migraine
  • Ménière’s Disease (stable/chronic phase)
  • Motion Sensitivity / Visual Motion Intolerance

To support comprehensive vestibular and balance rehabilitation, our clinic utilizes an advanced Balance Tracking System to objectively assess balance, stability, and fall risk. This technology allows our therapists to identify subtle balance deficits, track progress over time, and individualize treatment plans using clear, data-driven insight throughout the rehabilitation process.
